The Daily Planner is a 7-day forecast planner for a specified location that details a company’s weather trigger criteria. This includes the daily high/low temperature, probability of precipitation, and wind speed/direction. Planners can be customized to incorporate specific weather trigger criteria, allowing you to make decisions ahead of schedule and lessening the impact on your production.
To customize your Daily Planners, follow these steps:
From the Company Dashboard, choose Daily Planner from the Settings menu.
Choose the Asset of interest in the company asset list. You can search through the list by typing in the location name in the search box above the list or just scrolling through the list as assets are listed in alphabetical order. To activate the Asset settings, click on the asset of interest.
You can now customize your weather triggers. The default triggers are already set to “on” for Marine and Continental assets. Slide the bars left to lower the thresholds, and to the right to increase them.
Weather Triggers: Default triggers are already set to "on" for Marine & Continental assets. You can enable or disable a product by clicking the toggle switch next to the product.
Customize Weather Triggers: To customize your triggers, slide the bars to the left for the lower end of the threshold, and to the right to increase the threshold. Green will represent areas that are “ideal” conditions. Yellow means you’ve hit a minimum threshold for impact at your location which may require action, while the Red section mean conditions are outside of your operational threshold.
Note: Marine planners have different weather triggers that are not available on continental planners, including 50 and 80m wind direction and swell direction, height, and period.
If you want, you can customize the publish times for when the forecasts are sent. Default send times are at 6 am and 6 pm local time. Company Administrators can add additional publication times, change send times, or even remove secondary forecasts.
