Find Answers to Your Questions
In November 2018, DTN, LLC ("DTN") acquired Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. ("WDT") and their flagship platform, WeatherOps.
As part of our continued commitment to bringing you innovative, reliable and accurate information, we are upgrading your current service to the best marine weather platform in the industry – WeatherOps.
You'll begin to see WeatherOps information within the next few weeks.
If you would like to complete your cutover today and start using WeatherOps immediately, you can go here to start the process.
Please note, for customers with more complex solutions: you will be specifically migrated in a second phase. Your account manager will be in touch in advance to arrange education, training, access, and more; to ensure a smooth transition.
As of March 11, 2019, current product access and Wilkens Weather web/mobile access will be retired.
A great way to help you find the answer to your questions and guide you through certain processes is WeatherOps Academy. Our CSMs are also available via chat during business hours on the Academy.
You will have company administrators assigned to your account who can manage users, products, and locations. We will also be able to train you on managing these tools, so you do not have to wait for assistance!
Company Administrators can enable a Weather Check and assign users to receive a forecast through the Company Matrix. If you need to add a Weather Check to an existing multi-forecast report, please contact your company's Customer Success Manager.
Email aggregation will need to be set up by a DTN administrator and will be maintained outside of WeatherOps Commander. Please contact email@example.com to add, update, or remove a distribution list.
No, but the thresholds can be customized to company procedures.
Single site radar is available in the WeatherOps Display online, and also in the WeatherOps mobile app.
Choose a central location representative of a cluster of Assets or work with your Customer Success Manager to setup Area-based alerts.
If you would like to troubleshoot an issue before contacting your Customer Success Manager (CSM), WeatherOps Academy is always available for self-serve assistance.
To further help you with the transition and introduce you to our WeatherOps marine platform, we are hosting introductory webinars. During these webinars, we will cover new forecast product features and walk through the WeatherOps platform in a customized training session. You must register here in advance.
Additionally, you can always contact our CSMs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
